I went through many of the original RailsCasts about a year ago. They where are a great way to refresh on the basics, but rails has changed so much that it would be difficult for a new rails hopeful, such as my son, to make some of them work. Thanks for giving us a fresh, back-to-basics episode.

I know it's long ago that you had the problem that every question and answer was created twice but I have the same problem at the moment and don't know how to solve it. Do you maybe still know how you solved it?
By means of the subsequent technique, I had a performance with a distant shape that I required to go by by the collection. I got the primary corroboration mistake just well.
I am having the same issue as Danilo, all of my controller tests fail unless "guest" can do that action. The controller scaffolding provides :valid_session which seems like it should help with this problem, but I can't figure out how to configure it. Anyone done this?
When I try Chris's method I get:
NoMethodError:
undefined method `stub' for #<MyController...
